They were grilled under professional and internationally trained Filipino chefs Fernando 'Ferns' Aracama, Rolando 'Lau' Laudico, and JP 'Jayps' Anglo. There are top 60 kiddie cooks who have been auditioned from all over the Philippines. They will be divided into two groups. The first batch is assigned to cook the fiesta recipe from their hometown.
After getting the top 10 from each batch, top 20 will proceed to the next round to compete for the first ever Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition Title. The winner will get a culinary scholarship from Treston International College and cash prize worth 1 million pesos.
